Take the first step to becoming a CASA advocate:

VOLUNTEER!

EVERY CHILD HAS A CHANCE – IT’S YOU.

A Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA volunteer, may be appointed by a judge to advocate for a child when they enter the child welfare system due to allegations of abuse or neglect.

WHAT DO CASA VOLUNTEERS DO?

CASA Volunteers advocate for the best interest of a child and make informed recommendations for the child’s physical and emotional well-being to the judge.

CASA volunteers get to know the child, parents and their families in order to provide valuable information to the judge and others involved in the case to help ensure the child’s best interests is being met.

Because CASAs serve on one case at a time, they truly get to know the child and can give each case the sustained, personal attention it deserves.

We invite you to join our family of volunteers and make a difference in a child’s life – and your own.  To learn more, check out our video below.
