CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties is pleased to welcome Sharie Carr, Sarah Spohnholtz, and Stacey Mays. Sharie, Sarah and Stacey took an oath before the Honorable Angela Saucier in Titus County Court on August 21, 2019. Ms. Carr, Mrs. Spohnholtz and Mrs. Mays completed 30 hours of training and courtroom observation. Each CASA volunteer advocate will be assigned a case that may include a child or sibling group that was removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers work for the best interest of the child/children making sure they have a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. CASA volunteers are citizens in our community, just like you, that want to make a difference in a child/children’s lives while they are removed from their families and placed in foster care. If you want to make a difference in a child’s life contact Michelle Cobern at call 903-767-3679 or visit becomeacasa.org or www.casatcm.org.
