VOLUNTEER!

Generous Donation from WoodmenLife Chapter 279

WoodmenLife Chapter 279 members (from right to left) Shelia Morgan, Judy Worthen and Bettye Wilson, presented a generous check to CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties to support the needs of children assigned to CASA by a Judge and placed in foster care.  The proceeds were able to immediately help two children that are in foster care with little to nothing of their own, especially clothes, shoes and diapers.

CASA Representatives from left to right: (back row)Krystal Hosmer, Patty Lamb, Shakeshia High and (front) Kiosio Fields.  CASA Volunteer Advocate’s  play a very important role in a child’s life while in care however we don’t have enough Volunteer Advocates to give each child in foster care a voice!  If you would like more information about becoming a CASA Volunteer Advocate or how you can help a child in foster care, please call Michelle Cobern at 903-767-3679.  Thank you to WoodmenLife Chapter 279 for making a difference in the most vulnerable children’s lives in Titus, Camp and Morris Counties.
